![]() ![]() It was the Holy Spirit that gave Jesus the power to offer Himself as a sacrifice to God for us.īecause Jesus was holy He was worthy to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in Him. How did Jesus live in a human body and not sin? The answer is in Hebrews 9:14 … who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God. Jesus was able to live a sinless life and endure the cross by the power of the Holy Spirit in Him. Jesus only did what He saw the Father do and only spoke what He heard the Father say, (John 5:19, John 8:28). Jesus the Christ lived a holy life upon the earth in perfect obedience to His Father. If you want to walk in holiness with God, serving Him with a pure heart, this message is for you. If you want to increase your faith and learn how to take authority over sin and the effects of sin in your life and in the lives of people that you love, then this message is for you. ![]() If you want your desires to change so that you have God’s desires, this message is for you. If you want absolute freedom, and the power to stay free, then this message is for you. Some have become entangled with sin again and are not sure how to get free and stay free. People are in battles physically, mentally, and spiritually. (Ephesians 2:8-9)Īt the site we hear from so many people that are struggling. On the cross God gave the greatest gift of grace that He could ever give us. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– not by works, so that no one can boast. Jesus gave His life so that we could receive His life. By faith one accepts that what Jesus did on the cross was for them personally, they then receive Jesus’ life in them. ![]() We receive salvation and all the promises that go with it by just believing. We are saved by God’s work and our faith. The scene of Jesus bleeding on the cross is a moment frozen in time that affects everything in the universe (Col 1:13-20). As the last drops of His life were draining out Jesus cried out, “It is finished”. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father–to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. …Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. The scene of so many crosses was also a reminder of the One who bled and died upon a cross that we all might be made free. ![]() That may be the reason why my mind began to visualize scene after scene of men lying on the ground bleeding and dying in battle, some on the beaches, some in the countryside, and some in the cities. I have many times watched TV shows that showed scenes from World War II and the Vietnam War. As we were driving past hundreds and thousands of crosses for the first time in my life I truly understood the cost of freedom. They continued along a road, which made a large circle and eventually came to the monument area. A sea of white crosses as far as the eye could see filled the landscape. But one day a taxi driver was showing me around Manila and he surprised me by taking me there.Īs we were driving into the cemetery grounds I became overwhelmed at the site. When a friend heard that I was going to Manila Philippines for the first time, he said, “You need to visit the American military cemetery while you are there.” I thought to myself why would I want to visit a cemetery, and I did not plan to do so. The Blood of Jesus Christ Makes You Free and Holyįor if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
